Nice place, but what really stands out are the incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was flexible, even early in the morning, and when I got food poisoning elsewhere, they quickly arranged a driver to accompany me to a doctor. Airport transfer was easy to organize by contacting the hosts in advance, and scooters are available on-site (around 120k/day, negotiable).

Ellen is such a lovely person and gives you everything what you need. Order the Banana Pancakes as a breakfast, just the perfect start in the day.

This was one the cleanest place I stayed in flores. The bathroom was very new and the place was very well taken care of. It was so nice to stay there after being in various other accommodations. The view is beautiful.

A beautiful Homestay nestled within the city limits. Upon my arrival, I discovered a teaching class in progress for some children, as the school was closed that day. This was a commendable initiative by Lina. I was warmly greeted by Alin, Febri, and the entire staff. They made me feel right at home. The common area, which also serves as the dining area and features an outdoor seating arrangement, is the best part. The room was small but very cozy at the same time. Very minimalist and beautiful. The washrooms are located outside separately and are impeccably clean. Plus - they have hot shower available all the time. They serve simple and delectable breakfasts in the mornings. I particularly enjoyed the mini pancakes; their taste was simply great. The ambiance of the place is incredibly inviting and homely. I was so impressed that I wanted to extend my stay for another night, but unfortunately, time constraints prevented me from doing so. Ruteng, a small town, was the perfect place for a walking tour. Febri, a kind-hearted guide, explained everything so well. They also arrange trips around and outside the city. Do inform them beforehand regarding your plans.

Paul, the owner, is very attentive and dedicated to ensure guests are having an enjoyable stay. We arrived late and he still managed to find us a captain for the boat ride the next morning.

What did I like about the property? Well everything actually! We liked it soo much we visited twice in a few days. The location is just amazing. A little bit away from the main road (not a very good road though) and therefore very quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful forests full of birds. The lodges are simple but exactly enough. Be aware there’s no electricity and wifi, so make sure to charge your devices. The food is simply astonishing. Locally grown, made on woodfire and served with love. We ordered the vegan option, which was very reasonably priced. The staff working there is very kind and hospitable. If you look for accommodation close to Labuan Bajo or on your way to the east, definitely stay here!

ルテンにあるSun Rice Homestayは、無料WiFi付きのユニットと庭（テラス付）を提供しています。 コモド国際空港まで122kmです。 this was our favorite stay during our trip in flores. jeff and his wife are absolutely lovely, so so kind, helpful and welcoming. you feel like you’re part of their family. jeff organizes super nice tours in the rice fields during sunrise, his wife cooks the best indonesian dinner we’ve ever had. the rooms are simple but comfortable, bathrooms clean (and hot water!), and the views on the terrace are just stunning. we spent the whole day there just watching the weather and nature change, it was the best!! thank you jeff!
