Matraville Home Stay Tuk Tuk Lake Toba Samosir bevindt zich in Tuk Tuk, en heeft een tuin. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. - Dimmer is a fantastic host. He picks us up his guests at the piers and answers every question you may have. - The place is well situated, just outside Tuktuk main area. - We had a room in the garden, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. - Kettle and fridge in the room. - Good wifi. - Possibility to rent a scooter. There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

Evergreen Lodge is gelegen op 2,3 km van Samudra Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en roomservice. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. De homestay biedt een barbecue. Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk, denken met je mee, brengen je overal naar toe. Deze hostel is erg toegankelijk voor contacten met de andere gasten, jong en oud. We konden ons kostelijk vermaken met elkaar. Dikke prima voor Ade, Irma, maar ook Tiara en Rahman en nog een jonger jochie die de was streek. Goede lokatie om allerlei activiteiten te ondernemen. Tip: ga 3, 4 of 5 dagen naar de Mentawai, ikzelf koos 3 dagen. Was ook meer dan genoeg. En nog een tip: Bat Arrow, een meeting/dancing waar op zaterdag altijd feest is. Is aan de overkant van de hostel, meteen over het bruggetje. Laatste tip: links aan de overkant heb je De Spaarbank, hier kan je goed eten en zit je zelfs buiten cool. Heeft een vijvertje met Koi, is wel wat duurder dan een warung, betaal je voor een goede maaltijd ca 5 euro, voor een cola 1 euro. En misschien nog belangrijker: op de 1e verdieping is een zwembad, kan je gewoon vrij zwemmen. Vanuit de hostel kan je het zwembad van De Spaarbank zien. Wit gebouw recht voor je (iets links).

Hub Tata Guesthouse is gelegen in Tuk Tuk en heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Heerlijke bedden met goede klamboe. Prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Het personeel is super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Echt een warm welkom.

Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us ligt in Bukit Lawang en heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant, en gratis WiFi. Jhony is very friendly and helpful with any questions. Place is nice and quiet and just a short walk to main part of town. Jungle trek was a great experience and his young helper Lana went out his way to make sure we had a great experience. Would highly recommend

Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Bukit Lawang. Gratis WiFi en roomservice worden verzorgd. Our stay was great. The hosts organized a driver for us to pick us up from the airport in Medan. As it was our first accomodation in Indonesia on our vacation, we needed a sim card and they made sure the driver will stop at a sim card shop for us. We also did a jungle tour organized by them and we got to see lots of Orang-Utan and other animals. Unfortunately we could not raft the way back to our accomodation on the river since it rained beforehand and the guides decided it was not safe enough. We spent the last night singing songs together outside the accomodation while the host was playing the guitar which was pretty cool. Another bonus is the view on the jungle while lying in a hammock, right outside the room. We would definetly recommend staying here if you want to visit Bukit Lawang.

SeaGate Bungalows heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een terras en een restaurant in Sabang. Best place we’ve ever stayed, cannot recommend it highly enough! The beach 5 meters from the room has some of the best snorkeling we have ever tried. We even saw a sea turtle. Borja is extremely attentive and helpful, and will try to help you regardless of what you need. We stayed in both a deluxe room and later a bungalow. Both are amazing but the bungalow has a bit more privacy. It takes roughly 15 minutes by scooter to get to Gapang Beach where there are diving and freediving schools.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Bukit Lawang. Tot de faciliteiten behoren onder andere een bar en een barbecue. I don't even know where to start! Such an amazing location! The garden is incredibly beautiful, the location quiet and peaceful and yet in walking distance to a supermarket and the village. Clean rooms and facilities, mega comfortable beds, mosquito nets. So cozy! The kitchen! Ellie is a gem, her food and fresh fruit juices were absolutely outstanding. The staff in general was extremely helpful, responsive, very very sweet and made us feel right at home. They couldn't have a better crew to be running the place! Huge compliments, ya'll absolutely lovely people (and canines)! 🌼 Highly recommended to choose the jungle trek with Cheeky Monkeys as well! Our fantastic guides made it an unforgettable experience, it absolutely exceeded any expectations by far! Very empathatic, super patient, knowledgeable and respectful towards this special environment - we couldn't have imagined better jungle guides, nor a better trekking experience! 11/10 stars, thank you loads! 😍

Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe ligt tegenover het strand in Bukit Lawang en heeft een tuin en een terras. Elke kamer is uitgerust met een patio met uitzicht op de rivier. Ontzettend mooie locatie met vriendelijk personeel. We hebben het er echt naar ons zin gehad. Tijdens de jungle trek hebben we een aantal oerang outangs gespot.
