The location is perfect. Very close to Padang Padang (2 mn with bike, 10 walking), but very quiet. Property is beautiful, feels like staying in the jungle in beautiful, well maintained bungalows. Staff is lovely. Everything was perfect. Superb!

Dear Dukuh Retreat, thank you for letting me stay with you. I would definitely recommend you to people who want to escape everyday life and have a lot of peace. It's located outside and around are local people and their houses and not much tourism. You have to like that. I only stayed for a few days, but took a lot with me, like the yoga classes and Bali massages, which are really recommendable, and a traditional water cleansing. It was amazing to experience. You can also order food and they deliver it to your cute little house. The hosts are really welcoming and helpful. It feels like a little home. Warm regards, Jasmin

What a view!!!! The place is in the middle of rice terraces and the breakfast while overlooking the view was unforgettable!!! Lots of stars during the night, I saw some fireflies for the first time in my life!! The world heritage - Jatiluwih rice terrace is about 15min drive away. I wanted to do a sunrise trekking and the owner was happy to take me there by motorbike before 6AM (he didn't mind at all waking up so early for me, how kind...!) Honestly, the sunrise trekking was AMAZING. He also took me to the waterfall & a natural hot spring with extra fee which was totally worth it! After breakfast, I requested to try "rice planting" which he and his family happily accepted. It was fun and a great experience! I only stayed for 1 night but if time allowed I would have stayed for a few more nights there. Highly recommended! Arigato Putu-san🙏🏻Terima kasihhhhh!

This is a little magical place, truely a hidden gem. It's not just the location and the ambiance, it's the staff in the kitchen that make this place so wonderful. The food is incredible, you can taste the love and passion for the balinese spices and the respect for mother earth as well.
