He was so helpful at all times. The room was spacious, overlooking the beach with a little private balcony to chill in and read in the evening. Beds were super comfortable. A/C was effective and very quiet. The homestay is at the heart of Cherai beach, walking distance to everything on offer. We opted to have breakfast every day - you could choose Indian or continental. We opted for Indian. Lovely home cooked chana masala and various curries and huge fruit platter and traditional breakfast items were enjoyed every morning, with an explanation from Sajeev about what we were eating. Excellent value for money. We also had dinner a couple of nights which was also good value and very filling. You will never be hungry at Sajeev's place. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely large clean room with spotless modern bathroom. Great sea view from the rooms large double window. Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool. The balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee). Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day. A useful shop downstairs. Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic! The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall. Very friendly and kind people running the place. Laxmi speaks excellent English.

Very nice, hospitable and welcoming hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, airy and cool. The Keralan breakfasts were delicious. Lovely location across from the sea and 10 minutes walk to Kataddi beach. I booked for two nights and stayed for five and really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended.

The owner is very accommodating and sincere If fact one of my friends forgot the Bluetooth and the owner reminded of it and was kind enough to send to the address provided by free of cost. Excellent

This homestay made it a very memorable experience, even when only being there for one night. The host was eager to have a chat and told us of some nice places to go to. The room was beautiful and clean. We had delicious meals made by the family themselves. Having breakfast in there living room, made it an authentic experience. The brother of the host would drive us around in his Tuktuk. And since we travelled to the next place on a festival day, the host decided to bring us himself to Munnar. Which is an 5 hour drive. So, we were very grateful and had a great drive with him.

We stayed there 3 days while visiting Cherai beach . Stay was excellent and budget friendly. Spacious room, equipped kitchen, dining area and a balcony. Kitchen was having gas stove and essential kitchen vessels. We purchased some groceries and cooked ourselves. Good room, clean bathroom with hot water, friendly staffs. Walking distance to Beach. Make sure to have a night walk and dinner at the beach side hotels.
