Some really lovely thoughtful touches here - a cake in the kitchen, smoothies for guests... crispy clean bedroom and lots of information provided of good local spots/cafes etc. Great location for town, church and free parking!

We stayed here for three nights during our 10-day trip to Iceland. Disa she is a very warm and beautiful host. The house has been renovated for 5 years and is still in progress. From the furnishings in the house, we can see her design intentions! We are very lucky to meet her boyfriend, who is a professional composer and plays traditional and modern folk songs on the piano. He also performs at the Icelandic Harpa Concert Hall.Thank to Disa we stayed very comfortably for three nights in Iceland. The bus station is right next to it, there are parks nearby, delicious bakeries and ice cream, everything here is so wonderful 😊

Hvammsvík Nature Resort heeft een fitnesscentrum, een tuin, een privéstrand en een gedeelde lounge in Kjósahreppur. Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Dit pension ligt op het schiereiland Álftanes en biedt kamers in cottage-stijl met gratis WiFi, drijfhouten meubels en een flatscreen-tv. Het centrum van Reykjavík ligt op 14 km afstand. This is a hidden gem. Close to Reykjavik but still feels isolated, has beautiful views of the ocean, and large, clean, and comfortable room. Could’ve stayed there for far longer. Highly recommend.

Dit pension wordt door een familie beheerd, en ligt in de rustige wijk Thingholt in Reykjavik, op slechts 450 meter van de winkelstraat Laugavegur. Dicht bij het centrum en 2 straren van de kerk.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... It has been my "layover" between two flights. Because domestic airport is located close to center of Reykjavik, I choosed the Red guesthouse which is licated in-between downtown (10 minutes walk) and BSI - cental bus hub (10 minutes walk). Before even booking, I was attracted by friendly description with many small, but quite important details. Reality was above my expectations... Extremely clean and cozy, quite old (I believe) authentic icelandik house which remembers many inhabitants, their happy and sad days, love stories and laugh of kids. There are many pictures on the walls, some of them are real oil on canva pices of art, some are introducing modern (NOT conteporary! :)) art. Every corner, every little shelf is well designed and "on a right place". Kitchen is well equipped - possible to accomplish quite complicated receipts. Eric is a very positive and friendly person, easy available and helpful by phone. A few another customers were smiling and friendly - seems that interior and atmosphere of this house affects people in a good way. My only regret is that I spent only one night there and didn't have enough time to really enjoy this place. I'm already looking forward my next trip to Reykjavik. Thank you very much Eric! Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. Het personeel gastvrouw en gastheer waren super. Ook met hun zoon heb ik nog even kunnen kletsen of zijn fascinatie voor wasmachines en auto's. In een woord geweldige ervaring.

Set in a building dating back to 1916, this Reykjavík guest house is within 5 minutes’ walk of the popular Laugavegur shopping street. Both WiFi and private, on-site parking are free. De ligging is perfect. Dicht bij BSI en centrum. Eenvoudig self-check in Klein koelkastje op de kamer was top!

NN Urban Guesthouse is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Reykjavik East in Reykjavik, en ligt op 2,9 km van Geothermaal strand van Nauthólsvík, 14 minuten lopen van Sólfar (Zonnereiziger) en 1,1 km van... Beautiful and cozy room. Good location and free parking area in front of the guesthouse.
