For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. I liked the remoteness and the nice employees. It was early in the season but it felt a bit like you were in a place that was once bustling with activity but now only holds a few guests. Over all amazing!

It is a place where one can be at peace. You ask if I would stay there again. The answer is yes, I would. In fact I would be happy to live in such a place as Drangnes. It is also an excellent place to continue a visit into the Western fjords.
