The host was so welcoming, she prepared a dinner for us (asked if we are interested in it) and introduced us to the music, dance and singing from the region. We talked and learned a lot :) the room was big and comfortable, the view and singing of the birds in the morning made the day brighter :)

The absolute highlight of our stay was Guest House Chara, run by the kindest elderly couple, Fusao and Toshiko. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home—it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it truly felt like staying with family. Their house told a story, filled with warmth, history, and the little personal touches that made it feel lived-in and loved. From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful, off-the-beaten-path experience in Japan. ありがとうございます

Tanehachi Farm Guesthouse - Vacation STAY 29709v is gelegen op 21 km van station Aomori en 21 km van Aomori Bay Bridge, en is voorzien van kamers in Aomori. Situated on a farm surrounded by nature, it was a tranquil place. Our accommodations were comfy; a private room with traditional futons. We shared the rest of the home with the family and were made to feel like family.

オランドの二階 bevindt zich in Hirosaki, op 36 km van Archeologische vindplaats Sannai-Maruyama, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. new designed guesthouse in hirosaki. we had 2 private rooms with tatami floor (actually its a thin rice paper door that seperate the rooms and can be opened to 1 big room). everything is brand new. the room is big enough and has very convenient matresses on the floor. they also suplly towels. the comunal showers are right in front of the room, so its very convenient. the rooms are on the second floor, above the coffee/bar on the 1sr floor. you go by stairs to the second floor and take off your shoes. the are also dormitory beds on that floor. the city itself was very welcoming and nice. we had a very good experince and definitly come back again.
