It was a great experience, with a huge vibe. Staying on a previous school. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. With good coffee/chocolate/tea available. Staff was amazing and made a great sugestion for dinner.

Oka-san is very nice!😍 She welcomes me to Japan with watching Ukai. We also have Japanese style breakfast together and the chawanmushi is OISHIIII. Niku Jaga is alsoo very delicious🥰🥰 And I could take a relaxing warm bath after a long day, it's super refreshing. Oka-san is such a lovely lady. Please stay healthy. I'll come back after my Japanese has improved😁

We chose this property for its convenient access to Tsukechi and Yumori. Sakashita and the property are located near the main road, making it easy to find. Although we initially reserved one room, we were pleasantly surprised to have access to the entire house. It’s a lovely traditional home—old yet well-maintained. The host was wonderful and incredibly friendly. Overall, everything was great, and we had a delightful stay.

Taku was an incredible host - incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. All his recommendations of things to do in Takayama were spot on and Taku has a sunny and playful personality that made him a joy to be around. The house was spotlessly clean with a well decorated and cozy common area with awesome music playing in the background and a kitchen stocked with coffee/tea, utensils, dishes, etc. Showers were even nicer than expected - private rooms with a changing area and plenty of hot water. The location was excellent, both close to the train station and a short walk from central Takayama. This place is amazing value for the quality of accommodations and experience you get and I can’t wait to come back for another stay.
