Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Dinner was a plate of different local produce, simple but very tasty, easily the best meal we had on the island.

Japanese Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo (Female Only) está muy bien situado en el barrio de Kinosaki Onsen, Toyooka, a 4,2 km de Seto Shrine, a 4,8 km de North Disaster Earthquake Monument y a 5,1 km de... Female part of family stayed here and got a free upgrade since they were three. Exceptionally nice tatami room. Piece for one night really worth it.

Hitotomaru is truly a little hidden gem! Situated in Takeno, a lovely fishing town only 15 minutes by train from Kinosaki Onsen (and a lot less crowded), the guesthouse is litteraly a few steps away from the most beautiful beach we saw in Japan. Inside, everything is made to make you feel at home. Everything is clean, beaufiful and smells good. The host speaks good english and is very helpful. This family guesthouse is our best discovery during our trip and we highly recommend it.

Shironoshita Guesthouse se encuentra en Himeji, a 31 km de Omiya Hachiman Shrine y a 31 km de Miki History Museum. The hosts are a family and they were really nice when we arrived, they gave us a small introduction and gave us a mini tour of the facility to ensure we knew where everything was. This was probably my favourite place to stay during my stay in Japan and would stay here again if I were to visit Himeji again, Facilities and room were extremely clean!!

The location of the property is within walking distance to the attraction places. Unless you have car, 10 to 20 minutes walking distance is acceptable. The property itself is well equipped and you just bring in your stuff and can stay there for a short break like your home. The property itself is a detached single story traditional house, and is a live show case about local Japanese culture. The owner also displays promotion materials about the local environs which suitable for new comer like us in the local community. The property is a quiet place. Having said that, depends on your requirement of "quiet", the property is adjoining to a main county road which means cars are passing through day and night, though not frequent. The owner is a nice gentleman and willing at all time to give you a helping hand in providing advices in the local community such as traveling, dining and sight seeing. To a traveler, a clean, comfort and safe place to stay is essential to release of uncertainty. The property and the owner do this well.

Keiko and her family is soo amazing . They are very sweet , super kind and so polite. I felt home immediately. The island is so cute and so beautiful. It’s a great stop for a few days between the cities . Great to ground yourself and let all the impressions settle in ! So grateful to have met them
