The hosts were lovely and made us feel right at home in Japan. The house itself was fantastic. We had an amazing stay and we hope to visit again next yew for more nights.

To be honest I found the most lovely people there . Yukie and her family are the warmest people . They drove me back to the closer train station and Yukie was so warm and welcoming. Even if I stayed only 1 night it was a healing break and that’s just so nice to feel so welcome. This family is a gem

ゲストハウス津津 ligt op 6 minuten lopen van Horikawa Bridge en 13 km van heiligdom Udo-jingu, en is voorzien van kamers met airconditioning en een gedeelde badkamer in Nichinan. This guesthouse was perfect. It had all the amenities I needed, including A/C and a full kitchen. The room was well appointed, and the shared spaces were very clean. The owner, Kouki, is genuinely a decent and honest person. Even though I booked at the last minute, he responded right away. I don’t speak Japanese, but he spoke a little English, and with the help of apps we got along fine. He’s knowledgeable about the area and even offered to arrange a tour. We drove down to Cape Toi, visiting many of the sights along the coast. If you’re into surfing and want to know where all the secret surf spots are, Kouki is your guy. Additionally, the nearby area in Nichinan has some historic and interesting sites to visit—also recommended by the stellar host. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wood be good inn ligt in Nichinan, op 11 km van Horikawa Bridge, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. I LOVED everything about this place!!! The BnB is gorgeous! Such a beautiful place to stay! Harry, the farmer, built it himself as well as the Japanese/American farm homestead. It is a beautiful place to relax in and children can run around the property safely so you feel like you can spend hours in this space and not have to be and about all the time. The wildlife is incredible here! On our walk around the property and down the track to the river we could spot so many frogs and crabs! The river is like it’s from a fairytale, with pebbles and fresh running water. Our kids caught shrimp, fish and crabs which they took back and made habitats for with containers from the mud kitchen. Oh I must mention the mud kitchen, which apart from being beautifully designed, kept the kids busy for hours. We could sit outside on the veranda, enjoy the nature and keep an eye on them. Ryoko cooked our breakfast and dinner for us which was absolutely beautiful food. The kids loved it too!! Highly recommend adding on breakfast and dinner!! Ryoko and Harry were both very accommodating and lovely, down to earth people (with great style and taste!). Harry gave us directions to the perfect small wave beach for our son to practice his surfing. There is an onsen very close by (10 minute walk), we went one a bit further away however and it was beautiful. This is a must stay in my opinion!

Dan Hiyori - Vacation STAY 08978v bevindt zich in Ebino, op 21 km van Ebino-plateau, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. It was very nice and interesting , beeing in a i would say traditionall japanese house. The owner is very very friendly, she borrowed me her bicycle, so i could explore Ebino! The food was amazing!!! This is a great place for family’s on a long holiday or short weekend get away. The host provides an extensive list of restaurants and activities in the area so it is difficult to be bored. Even if you just want to relax, there is an endless amount of activities for kids and adults around the house itself. The accommodations are comfortable and have everything one could need.

Guest House Shizuho is gelegen in Takachiho, op minder dan 1 km van Takachiho Shrine en 2,2 km van Takachiho Gorge Freshwater Fish Aquarium, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi... They offered us a small kitchen and free tea. The common area gave us the opportunity to meet other people. Room was spacious and well heated. Even though the hosts didn’t speak English, they showed us lots of hospitality.
