Great place for family/friends gathering. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped with kitchen utensils. Plus point of this homestay is there are two toilets and two separate shower rooms and basins! The view facing Mount Fuji is superb, coming from all directions from the balcony, living room, and sleeping rooms.

Yumiko gave us everything we needed for a pleasant stay and she was very thoughtful and clear about the house rules since the beginning. She was a great host and took care of us when we came back from the mount Fuji hiking too.

This was one of the best stays we had in japan. Sayuri is such a great host, helped was to find a place to eat, to book the bus to the next day. Her family is also lovely. The house is great as well, a beautiful view from Mt fuji. Comfy beds. Everything was amazing. I wish we could have more days at Asahi. We took bikes to see around. You can walk to a few famous places.

Good host, but the curtains from the capsule itself were not that great, could be a different one that gave a bit more privacy. 9.5/10 place! Would stay again!

This seems to be a typical minshuku experience. The lady is older and does not speak any english. She will show the place and use translator if necessary. There is a refrigerator to get drinks on level 1. You can pay when you leave. There is 1 bathroom with a hot bath which is quite common for home stays. Car GPS and Google Maps directions was accurate. View of Fujisan from the bedroom is beautiful. Everything is clean and as expected. I will return in future if staying in the area again.

Traditional Japanese homestay

Amazing host and thanks a lot to Keiko-san, took so much care of us despite being no only 2 nights stay. She speaks good English and her company arranges day trips all around kawaguchiko. This is a hidden gem and Amazing place with great view of Mt.Fuji. A traditional Japanese home modernised. We thought the traffic noise from the road will bother us. but that was a minor minor issue. With such good hosts other issue are trivial.
