There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. She showed us places where we could eat and gave us a map with the bus timetable. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. I think it was my best sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is also an electric heater under the futon, if you need one. Just like other reviewers mentioned, In the morning we were given a breakfast that was not included in the price. It contained meat, bread, multiple vegetables and fruits. Again, the best breakfast I ever had.

"Feels like home" type of vibe! The location is right next to the station, so it is easy to travel around Nikko. There is a combini right next to the property in case you need anything. The house keeper is EXTREMELY friendly and will help give you reccomendations and even help you make a plan. I wish I could have stayed longer! It was truly a special experience.

Super kind host, it seems that she absolutely loves what she is doing. Very helpful, gave us a lot of information so we could easily navigate the area in no time, even drove us to town to start exploring. She made us tasty breakfast free of charge, asked what we like and it was no problem that we are vegetarian. Look up ikkigai – that's what you experience there in action.

Okunikko Guesthouse JUN se encuentra en Nikko, a 12 min a pie de Cascada Kegon y a 16 km de Santuario Nikko Toshogu. Amazing place by Chuzenji Lake. The staff was nice and friendly. Beds were great. The open space was nice. There were monkeys!

Located in Nikko, 2.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Sanga Nikko provides rooms with free WiFi access. The property is set 10 km from Kegon Falls and 22 km from Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen. Immaculately clean and well-kept by the host. Our host Yoshi went absolutely above and beyond to help us make the most out of our (very) short stay. Going even as far as driving us to an amazing waterfall that is hard to reach by bus. Yoshi even prepared our itinerary for the next day and gave us a ride to the station. Yoshi was extremely nice and we were extremely grateful for all the help he. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. The guesthouse itself was amazing but Yoshi and his amazing reception is what will stay with us for a long time to come.

Midorian, que cuenta con salón de uso común, terraza y vistas a la montaña, se encuentra en Nikko, a 2,7 km de Santuario Nikko Toshogu. El anfitrión el Sr. Masayuki fue increiblemente amable con nosotros, nos trato con mucha hospitalidad y nos dió recomendaciones de lugares que visitar en nuestra estancia. Nos encantó la ubicación, en mitad de la naturaleza cerca del bosque y junto al río. Le recomendamos su alojamiento a cualquiera que quiera quedarse en la zona, nosotros volveremos sin duda.
