They even advanced us part of the cab fare because we didn't have enough cash and they also took us from the house to the cash dispenser. All this without mentioning the typical house, which is just magnificent. In short, a real favorite, I highly recommend it.

My stay at Yanafu was truly delightful. The Japanese house, with its spacious 120 m², is very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a natural and sustainable style. Bright, full of light, and featuring restored wood details, it also has a vintage HiFi stereo system that sounds absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.

The apartment was very spacious and beautifully designed. Our host was fabolous and even opened his bar for us although no other guests were there at that time. He even organised us tickets for a train ride and made a reservation at an izakaya in the neighborhood. Thank you very much for having us!

Ik voelde me als familie, zo gastvrij en warm werd je ontvangen. Alles werd verzorgd. Het weer was best slecht, maar Yoko kwam me helemaal ophalen bij het station. Ik zat alleen in de accommodatie (vanwege de tijd wanneer ik in Japan was), en werd zelfs uitgenodigd voor het avondeten. Een onvergetelijke herinnering! Absoluut een aanrader als je in de buurt bent!
