The environment, the hosts and even guests have far exceeded our expectations. The yurts are located right on the shore of the lake more than 10km from the nearest road and village. Thus the place is a complete calm. The sand shore spreads for at least 8-10km and you will unlikely meet a single person during your walk. The lake looks more like a sea - you can see a horizon line, the same waves, clean water looks like a lagoon sometimes. When the sun shines you can see the snow caps of the mountains beyond the far northern shores of the lake. This is a real getaway location, which you rarely reach not only in well-developed Europe, but also in many areas of Tibet... The hosts are super friendly and we've made friends with them immediately (they speak Russian and Kyrgyz languages and there is a young man who speaks English well). Another young man takes care of the bar - he has won local barista championship and brews coffees I've never heard about. As for the guests - during our 2 days stay we've made friends with a couple from Belgium, two couples from Netherlands and there was also a group of Greeks and Bulgarians. Everybody was very open and friendly.

Mira, the host, was lovely and I enjoyed my chat with her. She's a great cook too and served a very tasty breakfast. The guesthouse is in a quiet back street, with plenty of on-street parking. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect, next to the park with all kinda arts and proximity to the beach. Hot springs are just a 15-minute walk. The garden he tends to is exceptional, I fell in love with the trees. The room is cozy and clean and has heated floors! Almost futuristic for Kyrgyzstan.

Recommended good places to eat & the hot springs as well which was a lot of fun. The host also made delicious pizza and eggs for breakfast. Very good rooms. Overall had a wonderful experience during our stay here.

Specially the second floor has good view to Issyk-Kul lake. It is easy to find the address. not far from lake's shore. Staff are helpful, The owners' English skill is not high but enough to answer our questions..

This is a clean, quiet well managed hostel. We had a private room. There are two big kitchens, plenty of bathrooms and a lovely common room with glodfish. It's hard to find by Google maps, bit a great location by the lake and the abandoned railway tracks. We walked to Muras, a great restaurant, in less than half an hour. Also walking distance to the abandoned Agitpunkt and abandoned port, and a beautiful pier.
