It was very much a family endeavor. Smey built the cabins himself. They were set in a lovely, clean, and well tended garden. Smey was always helpful in answering questions, suggesting restaurants etc. and we hired him for a day tour of some nearby villages, which was interesting. The Homestay is away from town, so we rented a scooter and that worked out perfectly but tuktuks are also available. All in all Tribal Homestay was a perfect place for us in Ban Lung and we felt lucky to have spent time there.

The food that Nitta, the owner made for us every evening was fantastic. Great value for the money. Ban Lung is a beautiful place, the best way to explore it is with a scooter I have rented in the property. I will come back again for sure.
