Amazing place - this may be the best place I stay in Sri Lanka. It is not in city center but is a short tuk tuk ride away. The room is lovely, the bed huge and comfortable (best night sleep!) and the grounds are lovely (great for catching up on travel / life admin in a great setting). The food they served was fantastic. All in all I really loved my stay here and it the value for the cost was phenomenal.

Our 3-day stay at this villa was truly unforgettable, mainly because of the amazing host, Aunty Thennakoon. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with love and said, “Stay like your home and walk anywhere.” And honestly, we felt exactly that just like home. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and treated us like her own children. She even let us use her personal kitchen to cook our meals. She prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, beautifully presented and served with love. The place itself is very beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quiet moments. The atmosphere was calm and felt very safe. More than just a stay, this was a heartwarming experience. Aunty Thennakoon’s exceptional hospitality made it special. We had lovely conversations with her, just like with a close relative. And created memories we’ll never forget. Thank you so much, Aunty Thennakoon. We will always remember you with love. ❤️

Lovely clean, spacious room and bathroom with a nice view Bit out of Kandy city which we liked and we had our own tuktuk so no issues with transport to town etc We felt very welcomed into the home and I loved the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast ! Really helpful hosts with lots of recommendations

Villa Olde Ceylon es un alojamiento muy bien situado en el centro de Kandy que ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y servicio de habitaciones. Beautiful property that felt like our own little oasis. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The shower was excellent too. Breakfast was served at your requested time and the owner offered to cook us a Sri Lankan breakfast that was really good. The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

The place was really comfortable, and the view from the terrasse was really nice! The staff was really nice, they gave us some very good recommendations for traditional massage, a driver, etc. The traditional breakfast was amazing! It is walking distance to the city center.
