The owner and his family are really nice people, very helpful and kind. The breakfast is huge and delicious! It’s a short walk to restaurants and bars, very well located! We walked to sigiri rock in 30 min. The owner will get you anything you need ! The rooms didn’t smell of damp for once and it was good value for the money!

Een ontzettend mooie plek, midden in de natuur, maar dichtbij de straat met verschillende restaurantjes. De eigenaren zijn zo behulpzaam en willen je overal mee helpen. De tour naar het national park was goed geregeld. Het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid. Al met al echt een aanrader!

It is beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location with an array of wildlife at your doorstep! They arranged everything for us at ease and great prices. We stayed for 2 nights. Our flight landed at 3am and Sunshine Villas had pickup waiting to bring us straight to the accommodation. On arrival they had a beautiful breakfast waiting. They then accommodated our early check in. After a nap we were brought to the elephant safari by one of the sunshine villa staff which was incredible. They then arranged a tuk tuk driver for us for day 2! I couldnt rate more highly! The staff are so helpful and polite. The room was immaculate with hot water, and a choice of air con or a fan! I would rate 10/10

Tree Trails Sigiriya is gelegen in Sigiriya, op 5,3 km van Pidurangala-rots, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. The staff was amazing. Always available to make our stay better. They arrange tuk tuk, safari and transport to our next destination. We met the owner, lovely and so attentive. The cabin was very cute and clean. We had a terrace with couple of chairs to chill. Also have hammocks. On top of the cabin there is the tree house where the staff organised breakfast for us. The tree house has increíble views. Peaceful place. Full of trees, cero noise except for the birds. We spent hours and hours just chilling and relaxing. Everything was so easy. This was really the highlight of our trip, nothing have been as good as this place. The staff are there to really make your life easier so you just spend the time enjoying. A heavenly tropical escape. Thank you so much. We will miss this place.

Gewoon super! Vriendelijke familie, super propere kamer, goede bedden, heerlijk ontbijt, goede locatie dicht bij goede restaurants,.... Aanrader!

Yashi's Place Sigiriya is gelegen in Sigiriya, op 1,4 km van Sigiriya Rock, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Ontzettend lieve en behulpzame mensen. Niks is hen te veel. Ruime en schone kamers. Goede en rustige locatie met veel groen. Het ontbijt en diner (op aanvraag) is heerlijk!!! De beste Rice & Curry van onze reis. Dit was ons beste verblijf ook.

Pidurangala View Treehouse, een accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, bevindt zich in Sigiriya, op 1,6 km van Pidurangala-rots, 1,8 km van Sigiriya Rock, en 3,7 km van Wildlife Range Office -... I loved sleeping in a forest-like environment. I really missed it, and this treehouse was a lovely stay in that regard. The noise/sounds/music from the forest at night is the best. We really enjoyed everything: the treehouse, the view on the rock, the Loris tour at night, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and the simple but clean facilities, the safari... Make sure to discuss with the host about the different activities you can do around the rock (time, price, etc.). The host will help you out the best that he can, including dropping you at 5am at the bottom of the rock if necessary! Very kind family, business encouraged, I would come back there 100%.

Villa Hanguk is an ideal spot if you plan to explore the Dambulla area. The owner is incredibly helpful, offering assistance with scooter or tuk-tuk rentals and organizing local trips. The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!
