Our stay was exceptional. The property is very well maintained and in a lovely garden setting. We were the only guests as it was the off season but the service was still top notch. One of our group was ill for the stay and the staff were very kind and caring, and provided cold compresses, a tonic and dinner to the room for her. The dinner they provided for the group was ample and incredibly tasty. During that we enjoyed hearing about the property, the area and their experiences. This stay felt like a real home away from home thank you!

Lake Front Yala Safari ligt in Kataragama, op 18 km van Tissa Wewa, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

Sam's Stay Buduruwagala ligt in Wellawaya, op 39 km van Demodara Negenbogen-brug, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen! Naast lekkere welkomstdrankjes kregen we ook een maaltijd aangeboden voor een heel mooie prijs. Aangezien het huis niet onmiddelijk bij een dorp/stad ligt is dit mooi meegenomen. Het was heel lekker. We hadden een heel gezellige avond met een spelletje Carrom. De kamer was heel ruim, met terras en er was een koelkast om zelf wat drankjes fris te houden.

Nobel Regency ligt in Bibile, op 46 km van Nationaal Park Maduru Oya, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

Zeer nette en schone kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt. Goede locatie. Het ontbijt en diner is heerlijk en uitgebreid. Hele lieve mensen. De eigenaar heeft ons de laatste dag nog allerlei mooie plekken in de buurt laten zien. Wij komen hier graag nog een keer terug.

Ethili Lake view & Safari Camp bevindt zich op 47 km van Demodara Negenbogen-brug, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en roomservice. Peaceful and quiet in the middle of the forest. Wild animals all around. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Service and people were fantastic.
