We had a friend hospitalized during our time there and everyone around was super supportive and made everything possible to help. Besides the people, this hostel organizes plenty of activities. There is always a plan going around. It's a perfect hostel to travel solo or with friends and meet new people. Don't forget to say hi to Huitzilin, the iguana :)

Also right next to bus station and taxis and a short walk to the main square which had a load of great street food stalls and little markets dotted along it.

A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

The staff(Myrna and Diego)were friendly and super helpful guiding us through what we needed and went out of their way to accommodate our requests

Since there isn’t a sign in front of the hostel, it’s best to mark it on the map before arriving. The room was equipped with a desk, two chairs, and drawers, which made it easy to store our belongings. There is also a kitchen available, so we were able to cook simple meals, which was very convenient. The shower water pressure was a bit weak, but we appreciated that there was always hot water.
