The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

I could see the people that come to his place are in a safe and kind hands and he helped a few travellers with their medical issues whilst I stayed there. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly if u stay more than 2 nights. They are equipped by A/C and very comfty beds. The breakfast were the most delicious from what I got in Nicaragua, they were so rich and variable that filled u up until late afternoons, they were basically lunch!! 😀❤️ come here and your stay in SJDS will be unique and u will have a true feeling, u are at home surrounded by kind and sincere family!!🙏🙏😎

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

The place has a great location to do whatever you want to do in Ometepe, very clean, solar energy, great wifi, filtered water, hammocks. All good. We loved it so much that we are staying one more full month!

Beautiful private balcony and many lovely dogs living there. The bed was the most comfortable in all my travels in Nicaragua I think, with quality sheets and a comforter and two big windows for a nice breeze. There’s a few restaurants nearby but they also offer a delicious breakfast on site. I loved the decor and the place was spotless. The location is remote but perfect walking distance to do the kayak tour of the river. If you’re a dog lover and go to Playa Mangos to do the kayak tour please take a bag of dog food, I’ve never seen so many skeletal dogs, they will appreciate it

Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.
