Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

The place has a great location to do whatever you want to do in Ometepe, very clean, solar energy, great wifi, filtered water, hammocks. All good. We loved it so much that we are staying one more full month!

Beautiful property with fruit trees. Teresa the owner is lovely and she treated us like family. The triple room was huge and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or alternatively, Teresa will cook homemade delicious meals. The location is great, we recommend sunset at Mangos beach .You can reach Papaki by public transport but it takes long time, we recommend to rent a scooter or quad bike. The website of papaki is well done and you can find all the information about transport, food and activities to do in the island.

Fairly priced, built with great attention to detail, and managed in a very sustainable way. Everything works perfectly. Tidy rooms, each with its own terrace on top, and a complete kitchen. Mariken and Mark are lovely hosts and we ended up extending our stay. Would really recommend the curry night on Monday and Wednesday; excellent food and affordable prices.

A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.
