Christine and Bo kindly let us use their kitchen to prepare dinner and sandwiches for our trip the next day, the location is great and only a short walk from mount eden and short uber from the bus station. It’s so great we are returning there again when passing through Auckland next. Can’t recommend enough for a short stay in Auckland.

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The hosts, Bruce and Jules, were very welcoming and friendly. They were always available to help and answered any questions we had. Great service. Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Very good view and good location. Just a few minute drive to most places we wanted to visit. The complimentary bottle of bubbles definitely enhanced our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing stay at Waiheke.

Amazing view! Loved having the patio/balcony. It’s far enough apart from the other property on site and also has a divider to feel private. Very clean, comfy, felt homelike. Communication with the host was great and very helpful. Check in and out was very easy. The driveway is no joke but passing other houses in Piha, that seemed to be quite common for the area.
