We had an amazing stay at Alaqur View Inn in Nizwa. The room architecture was beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with a traditional touch. It truly added to the charm of our experience. The inn is perfectly located right behind Nizwa Souk, making it extremely convenient for exploring the market, the fort, and other nearby attractions. Before our arrival, we were provided with clear and detailed instructions and directions to the property, which made getting there hassle-free. One of the most thoughtful touches was the warm Omani hospitality—we were welcomed with traditional coffee and delicious dates upon arrival, and they were offered to us every time we went in and out of the hotel. Additionally, their rooftop offers a stunning view of Nizwa, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the city. The staff—Raghu, Dil, and Ibrahim—were incredibly courteous and always ready to help, making our stay even more pleasant. A special moment was when we received a thoughtful little gift upon our departure, handed to us by the owner’s adorable son, Jibran—a heartwarming gesture that made our visit even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place with great hospitality, stunning architecture, a prime location, and a beautiful rooftop view, Alaqur View Inn is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina! Mahmood, the owner is a rare, wonderful personality: gentle, intelligent, proactive, well informed, with a growth mindset. You get much more than a hostel bed, if you only can see and appreciate it. My main reason for staying in this hostel was hiking to the peak of Jebel Shams and Mahmood made it possible, really caring that I am well prepared. Well equipped shared spaces: spacious seating area, big table fitting all the guests, books and tourist information in various languages, traditional clothes that you can try on and wear for a dinner out, frankincense aroma...

Dinner was great as well. The gardens of Misfah are a magical place and Transport you back in time. A must stop-over in Oman and good overnight place for hiking the balcony walk.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat. Excellent tour of the museum, really made the village come to life. Excellent breakfast and free coffee throughout the day. Beautiful view from everywhere.
