From the beautiful house itself and the delicious food (both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, made at home or by local cooks, out of local products, easily one of the best, if not the best, I had in Oman), through small details like the smell of incense all around the guesthouse, elegant design choices, and the high quality soap (available to buy downstairs!), to the host herself and the ambience she creates for this place. I loved her idea to have shared dinners and breakfasts, with her and/or other travelers. It is a wonderful way to exchange stories and experiences while building a small community of Bait Al Aali people. Emina knows a lot about the region, has interesting stories to tell, a big heart for animals and is conscious about sustainable development of tourism. The area is magical and quiet, with a palm plantation just outside, where you can stroll for hours and relax. The room was spacious, with a lot of light, a big, comfortable bed and a private, very clean and modern bathroom. Everything is freshly renovated, the terrace has an incredible view of the area, and Emina makes sure that the place feels like home you want to return to. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

The host was very friendly, we had a few nice conversations, and he even recommended a beautiful hike nearby. We also shared dinner together and talked about our cultures, which made the stay feel very personal. The property was clean, comfortable, and great value for low-cost travelers. Everything was perfectly fine.

Misfah Heritage House is gelegen in Misfāh, op 49 km van Fort van Nizwa en heeft een tuin, een terras en uitzicht op de bergen. Een prachtige locatie. We zijn enorm warm onthaald met een gratis rondleiding in het dorp door de gastheer. We voelen de passie voor het dorp bij deze man. We had a wonderful stay at Ahmed’s guest house. Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip

Al Misfah Hospitality Inn bevindt zich in het dorp Masfat Al-Ibrien, in de staat Al-Hamra, op ongeveer 200 km van Muscat. I honestly enjoyed everything. The staff and owner are amazing. We had a guided tour and learned a lot about the town and the owner's family history. It was very interesting. The breakfast and dinner were good. The view from the room was really beautiful. I would recommend this place!
