A lovely hostel in Chachapoyas. The building is quite new and very clean. Beds were comfortable. They provide a nice cheap breakfast and there is a kitchen. Staff was excellent - I arrived after a night bus at 7:30am and they let me take a shower and have breakfast, and helped me book a tour basically immediately. The rooftop terrace with all the plants is so nice. Would recommend this place!

Nancy was very helpful even though she couldn’t really speak English (and my Spanish is worst than her English. She did speak almost fluent French). But husband Alfredo was great with English and helping me plan my stay.

He goes out of his way to help us for example to order pizza for us and to help us booking tickets for Kuelap online. We ordered a taxi with him to get us around and the driver Ivan was wonderful in also giving us explanations and talking about Peru people in general (possible even with our limited knowledge of Spanish).
