We actually stayed here twice, the first time we just walked up because we weren't sure what day we'd arrive because we took the slow cargo boat from Yurimaguas to Iquitos. Then we booked a night through booking.com for our final night in Iquitos.

The staff were very patient with our limited Spanish and were friendly. They allowed us to use the pool after checking out which we appreciated in the heat of Iquitos. The room was large and very comfortable with great AC and a comfy bed. The pool area is very nice, extremely clean and very relaxing. The pool is around 10m long and large enough for cooling off. It is very similar to the photos and is as nice as it looks! The longe area around the pool is also very nice and never busy. We would highly recommend Iguana Haus for anyone looking for a peaceful stay!
