Het personeel! Ze zijn zeer vriendelijk en helpen je met alle vragen die je hebt over de buurt/eiland. Je hebt wel een scooter nodig (die je daar kan huren) om naar de toeristische straat te gaan waar je verschillende restaurants/bars vindt, anders moet je toch wel meer dan een 3 kwartier wandelen.. (wat ons niet stoorde!). We verbleven hier twee keer en hebben echt geen klagen gehad. Het bed is redelijk comfortabel en er is warm water mét druk aanwezig! Prijs/kwaliteit zeker oke!

Sambag Hideaway Bungalows bevindt zich in Moalboal, op 25 km van Kawasan-watervallen, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een privéstrand en een terras. Location is perfect. Receptionist (I believe her name is Lisa) helped connect me with Frankoff who took me to swim with the sardines and sea turtles. I could not have asked for a better experience, it was truly magical. She also helped set me up with my next destination to Bohol/Panglao the next morning. Also the view in the courtyard is spectacular, so serene and quiet, I really felt like I was in a peaceful paradise. Highly highly recommend this place. 100/10

Erg ruime kamer in een rustige omgeving. Airco werkt erg goed. Daarnaast hadden wij een fantastische canyoneering ervaring met Jeff.

Roos Guesthouse ligt in Moalboal, op 300 meter van het Panagsama-strand, en heeft een tuin en een terras. Het beschikt ook over een bar en een zithoek/lounge. Loved the location! Super kind staff, really clean place, and delicious breakfast available all day 💕 You can book all the activities right from the hotel. It’s just a 5–10 min walk to Pescador Beach and about 6–8 km to White Beach 🏖️ Plus, there are lots of great food spots around the hotel!

Bolo Airport Homestay is gelegen op 12 km van Fort San Pedro en 12 km van winkelcentrum Ayala Center Cebu, en heeft kamers in Lapu Lapu City.

JRM Place ligt in Oslob, op een paar minuten lopen van Quartel Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een privéstrand, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Het pension heeft familiekamers. It's right by the ocean. A gorgeous spot, especially in the mornings and during low tide. They DO HAVE WIFI, and it's an excellent one. On Booking it says no wifi, and they should really change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. My cozy, clean and spacious room opened up to the lovely rustic covered seafront terrace with rustic tables and chairs, a sunbeds and some hammocks. So chilled and nice. It reminded me so much about good old time Philippine travelling. Hard to find these places these days. It's worth to note that they have 2 entries on booking.com, so if you fall in love with the look of the terrace, but want a better room, then type JRM place in the search box and the 2nd entry appears with better, but not much more expensive rooms. The rustic place that appears first, has better rating, maybe because those rooms attracts a different clientel! Excellent location close to the bus stop and 7 eleven. Cold drinks for sale in the evening. BYO anything else. I didn't come to Oslob for the controversial whale sharks, but because there is so much else you can see on easy day trips. Buses are frequent and habal habals are so organized from the junctions to tourist sights, with fair fixed prices posted up. I ended up extending my stay, as it was so much to see.

The host was very responsive. They refilled the water very fast when it was gone. They also recommended places to buy food. They also helped me buy some stuff as we were arriving late at night.
