The room is very comfortable, which was amazing in raining days to stay all long, also the tv room with Netflix was a great bonus. The location is walkable to the center but if you don’t want to walk John’s will help you to rent a scooter.

It’s not in the main tourist area, but it’s easy to get around with a motorbike, so the location worked well for us. That said, it might not be the best choice for older guests like our parents, who prefer everything more accessible. There’s no generator as expected from their property description, but we were prepared for that. The listing mentions potential noise from traffic and neighbors, but it was fairly quiet at night for us. Light sleepers or older guests might feel differently, though. Overall, it’s a great spot for young couples looking for value and a cozy stay!

The patios were perfect to chill out and the homestay ist a few steps away from everything you need in central General Luna. When in Siargao, Camanolo homestay ist definitely my homebase to come back to.
