The accommodation itself is amazing - each apartment is very spacious, clean and has all the comforts you need from coffee machine, stove and great WiFi. The cherry on the cake is the view from their place - absolutely astonishing, right on top of the sea. Can’t wait to go back!

The property is set in the most beautiful and breathtaking surroundings. The waterfalls are wonderful and the view of the sea is fabulous. Everyday the scenery changes: We had a big storm while we were there, and the waterfalls doubled in size. It is in a great location for walking, being at the beginning of the pr3 lakes walk, and in the middle of the west coast walk pr1 and 2. The apartment itself is well organised and set out for your needs. kitchen dining and lounge space all with the view over the sea. While we were there because of the rain and the storm it was difficult to dry clothing, but our lovely hostess Andrea dried our clothes in her drier - giving us an opportunity to meet her and the family. Such lovely hosts! Very highly recommend this amazing place. We hope to return very soon!

A recently renovated homestay set in Lajes das Flores, House with Forest View features a garden. The property features sea and mountain views, and is 2.3 km from Praia da Calheta. The homestay also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights here. The instruction on how to get to the accommodation was very clear. Nuno is a great host who also gave us secret tips on the island. We also talked to him personally about how the island life really is. The apartment has a functional kitchen with a fridge, washmaschine, gas cooker and the also an air fryer. Somewhere in the neighborhood there is also a cat who also visited us regularly. We gave her the name Hector. The island Flores it’s quite expensive since everything has to be imported. We are glad that we could spend our time here. 4 nights is enough to see the waterfalls and do some hikes. We are quite active but we didn’t manage to see everything. If you have time, we also recommend to see the island Corvo.

Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and garden at the homestay. The kitchen was well equipped. Location was fantastic- close to shop, close to natural pools. The staff, was very friendly- cheers to Samuel! We loved the bathroom- a bit Dynastia style, very photogenic, amazing light. You might think this is an overkill, but listen to this… rainy, windy day, unpleasant to hike: take a wine, put hot water into the tub, turn the massage on, look outside the window on the ocean. Dream!

The owner is so nice and helpful, happy to share the tips about the island but also to help with any issues during the stay. The place was previously used to store boats and the construction is original which makes it a unique accommodation. Shared spaces are huge, the kitchen well equiped and shared bathroom kept clean and comfortable to use even with more guests. I'd recommend the place to anyone who is going to visit the beautiful Flores island.
