This is the best place to stay in Flores. Ottmar and Susanne made our stay so special. They provided us with all the local tips and recommendations to have a great experience in the island. We were also very hungry when we arrived and Susanne offered us the most delicious Azorean almond cookies. Make sure to ask where you can buy them! The accommodation itself is amazing - each apartment is very spacious, clean and has all the comforts you need from coffee machine, stove and great WiFi. The cherry on the cake is the view from their place - absolutely astonishing, right on top of the sea. Can’t wait to go back!

The instruction on how to get to the accommodation was very clear. Nuno is a great host who also gave us secret tips on the island. We also talked to him personally about how the island life really is. The apartment has a functional kitchen with a fridge, washmaschine, gas cooker and the also an air fryer. Somewhere in the neighborhood there is also a cat who also visited us regularly. We gave her the name Hector. The island Flores it’s quite expensive since everything has to be imported. We are glad that we could spend our time here. 4 nights is enough to see the waterfalls and do some hikes. We are quite active but we didn’t manage to see everything. If you have time, we also recommend to see the island Corvo.

Location was fantastic- close to shop, close to natural pools. The staff, was very friendly- cheers to Samuel! We loved the bathroom- a bit Dynastia style, very photogenic, amazing light. You might think this is an overkill, but listen to this… rainy, windy day, unpleasant to hike: take a wine, put hot water into the tub, turn the massage on, look outside the window on the ocean. Dream!
