The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen for guests. Rui and his wife Lina are amazing hosts. I only stayed two nights but made the best out of it. Rui picked me up at the airport and even drove me to other places for walks as I didn't have car. Both him and Lina are super sweet people who will go beyond to make you feel welcome. And the house (or better the mansion) is amazing as well with great view to Pico and Velas. I couldn't choose better place :)

Yet it's close to everything. We had an amazing time here. Rui is the most amazing host I've ever meet. He is helpful, thoughtful and always available to help with anything that can come up. Rui helped us to plan our stay on the island, gave us ideas what to visit and welcomed us like we were family. Rui's place is not just another nice accomodation on the island, it's a home away from home. And I would recommend anyone who wants to have a real Sao Jorge experience to stay with Rui. We will definitely return.

Super flexible with check-in and check-out, and also available to pick me up at the ferry or airport! The accomodation was super clean, and you can have meals looking at Pico Mountain. There's also a kitchen and a big fridge, and also a living room :) My stay was perfect. I will come back still this year again!

Close to both the airport and the Velas port for ferries, with access to hikes, and including a fabulous pool and all the other amenities you could want, this is the perfect place to stay on Sao Jorge. We used the comfortable apartment with squeaky clean linens, cooking and dishware, and patio furniture. Lots of space and surfaces for packing suitcases and feeling at home. The sunsets were STUNNING and all the requests we had were generously completed with smiles. Thank you so much to Max, Gabi, Thiago, and all the lovely staff!
