I was not sure what to expect, but I can honestly say that I felt that I was staying in a mini palace. It was super clean and comfortable rooms with a great bathroom. The location was perfect! I will stay here again when I return to that area. We truly enjoyed our stay. The owner was so hospitable and helpful in every way! Wonderful place!

We stayed here for just one night with our family, and it was absolutely amazing. The house is both incredibly comfortable and beautifully authentic. It’s decorated in a charming rustic style while offering all the modern comforts. The bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the house was warm and cozy thanks to the well-functioning heating system and fireplace. The floors were a bit cool, but the bedrooms were perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Patricia, who welcomed and took care of us, was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities like the pool and jacuzzi, but we would love to return in warmer weather to fully experience everything this place has to offer. The location is truly magical—completely secluded, surrounded by stunning nature, with a small river nearby, grazing sheep, lush greenery, and mountains in the background. Absolute peace and beauty.

In addition, the people were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help foreigners in every possible way.The food was delicious and enough to make you satisfied. I highly recommend living in this place during any upcoming visit to Manteigas.

I liked everything: the room, the furniture, the central heating, the bathroom, the cleanliness, the mattress, the welcome (free) tea / coffee, the decoration, the breakfast (not included but with great food for a fabulous price), and the sympathy and availability of the staff.

It’s clear that the owners love what they’re doing and they’re taking care of their place with immense carefulness and love. The host was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the terrace downstairs to watch the stars from was a great add-on. We can highly recommend this place!
