We were traveling through Slovenia so we needed a place very close to the freeway that is clean, comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced. This place was exactly what we were hoping for. There is nothing not to like about this place! The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and had a terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains. The location is ~10 minutes drive to Logarska Dolina, and there are hiking trails right out the door, including an easy one to Matka Kot with goat milk ice cream along the way :) They are also sustainable and have different bins to easily sort waste. What really sets the guesthouse apart though is the staff - Katja is so friendly with plenty of suggestions for things to do and what traditional foods to eat. Every night the guesthouse offers a different traditional meal, and we enjoyed each one she recommended to us. And her daughter’s desserts are delicious! We had a wonderful time in this area of Slovenia and would definitely recommend a stay here!
