Homestays in Chiang Rai Province

Pikban is very friendly and helpful, and even made us tea in the evening. The room and place is really quaint, and in an ideal location for us: walking distance to Chiang Rai town centre but away from tourists and in more of a locals area. Air con and fan were great, as was the bathroom.

Suuuuch a cute little hotel that feels more like a homestay. The owner is so helpful and kind, felt like I was staying with a family friend almost. The room is spacious with a cool little patio area overlooking the Lilly pond. Food prepped onsite was delicious. I had to work a couple of the nights I was staying there on my computer and Wi-Fi was strong enough to take video calls no problem.

Liked that the place is ran by a family who live on site like a home stay. Garden is of trees and nature that makes it peaceful and nice to look out. Alex was a great host! The room interior was unique and had character. The best temperature room all trip.

Really original homestay with a very lovely host in a local neighbourhood. Breakfast was very lovely and delicious. The city center was reachable by foot in a few minutes.

Perfect homestay, traditional build, very helpful family, good breakfast and competitive scooter hire. Saturday night market 200m away. Walking street 10min walk, scooter needed for other must see sites. Spent 4 brilliant days in Chiang Rai.

It felt like a home stay. Na was so kind and helpful with taxis, tours and advice. It’s quirky and a family home. Outside kitchen off a balcony overlooking the lily pond. It is traditional and I loved it.
