The internet was fast and I managed to work properly from downstairs common area. Also there there have free coffee, chocolate, tea, and more water. Walking distance to market and beach and 7-Eleven.

The value for money at Captain Joe's is outstanding. Delicious and healthy breakfast provided each morning. Beautiful owners who make you feel welcome. Everything is immaculately clean and well looked after. The hostel itself is located a 10 minute walk from the main Hua Hin beach, right next to the main shops and restaurants, but in a quiet part of town. The owners helped book a car back to Bangkok for my wife and I and provided recommendations on where to go around Hua Hin. The wildlife photography on the wall is also really beautiful and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We also did not have any noise wake us up during the night and could not hear other guests. Everything, we loved the feel of the place and how it was laid out. The rooms were neat, well designed and stylish. Owners fantastic and extremely helpful. Gave me ideas of things to do most days which we loved. In our top 3 stays in 4 months of thailand. Definitely the best one for value for money, as we are comparing against much more expensive hotels aswell. We ended up staying for 5 days, 2 days longer than originally booked.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need. There’s also a little pool on the property as well. They serve Thai and western food at the restaurant next door.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay. We stayed in the little cabin, it was small, but there's only 2 of us and (to our regret) we only stayed 2 nights. (We really wished we had booked longer, but already had advance bookings further south.). The village is small with several places to eat and drink. The beach is really long and was very quiet during our stay. The hosts of Wandee are super helpful, kind and friendly. They have several types of bungalow available and it's just 3 minutes walk from the beach. The garden is beautiful, full of nature and wildlife and also many little art installations. They also have bicycles that you can borrow and can arrange a scooter hire if you wish. This guest house has been our favourite place to stay on this trip so far. Highly recommend.
