The staff were very kind and helped us arrange transfers to and from the airport for €40 each way. They were helpful throughout our stay, which made things much easier. The room was clean, the AC worked very well, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine—though a bit small. Other than that, everything met or exceeded expectations. The location is also excellent: you’re close to the main mosques, and the surrounding restaurants come to life in the evenings, which adds to the experience. For the price, this hotel is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting Istanbul.

At the homestay, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. a warm welcome, a place where every time I come back Mustafa knows how to welcome you! positioned very close to the center, you immediately exit into the pedestrian area where you find restaurants, supermarket, shops etc., parking space, very nicely decorated rooms, wonderful interior garden, excellent wifi, Turkish coffee offered by Mustafa in the garden and telling stories, makes you always come back to him 🥰

The host, Murat, was very kind and welcoming and helpful. He gave me lots of recommendations in the neighborhood, including a hammam with no tourists. I had a room on the upper floor with balcony, facing the courtyard, and it was quiet and relaxing and beautifully furnished with antiques and lovely touches like traditional lamps and rugs. The bed and covers are very comfortable. Slept like a baby. The value is amazing for what you get and I would (and will!) happily stay here again.

All air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated with oriental details and feature private en suite bathrooms with a hairdryer. Some double rooms have 4-poster beds with embroidered clothes. We came to the Marmara Guesthouse for a short stay in Istanbul where I had my PhD defense exam. I have lived in Istanbul several years but never really stayed in this part of the city. We loved it! It was very important for us to have a comfortable stay as the exam was already stressful enough. Marmara Guesthouse definitely made these important days memorable for me 😇 The location is in a quiet area and not in an immediate vicinity to bars etc. However one block away are restaurants and small shops. 👌 The distance to Sultanahmet attractions is short and the best part is the vicinity to the Kennedy-Allee by the Sea of Marmara. We warmly recommend a stroll here to observe the dolphins. 🥰 The breakfast was amazing with diverse sorts of cheese, fruit, veggies, meze, everything... The day before my exam I spent several hours on the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is normally served and studied. Sockets are available. I was offered to use the electric kettle to cook water for tea and coffee which was available for guests for free 😊 If we return to Istanbul we would stay here again.

The rooms of Tulip Guesthouse feature simple, colourful decoration. Some rooms feature private en suite bathrooms with a hairdryer. Each has wooden floors and air conditioning. This place with the staff of that adorable family that consists of Ahmet, Esin, and their respectful father Omer bey, has the best thing of any family business, the friendly warm adorable comfy cozy atmosphere and hospitality. I visited Istanbul 6 times so far, this so far was the best one ever, so close to the main touristic attractions like Hagia Sophia- Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar,,, etc , So close to the direct to airport bus, so close to the transports, yet, it has a quite peaceful corner that there is no noise around. I even lost all of my money (which had fallen out of my bag without noticing) and they found it and returned it back without a missing cent in 10 minutes . With that amazing AC which usually are not found in Istanbul I experienced a peaceful sleeping that I did not sleep like in last 2 years. This facility will be my destination for every coming journey for me to Istanbul. And TBH I prefer it over a 5 stars Sheraton.

Each room has simple, yet modern furniture and boast a private balcony. All rooms have TV with multilingual cable channels, a work desk and well-stocked minibar. Great little boutique hotel in prime location of Istanbul. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent Location in the heart of the old city, walking distance from the attractions and plenty of good restaurants. Hotel is very clean, and staff are super friendly and gentle. Highly recommended.
