We loved our stay here — the place is all made of bamboo, with a big terrace overlooking the mountains and surrounded by traditional village houses. The atmosphere is peaceful and authentic. Breakfast and coffee were great, and they also offer bike rental and laundry service which was very convenient. The hosts are super nice and always ready to help.

Hakuna Matata homestay Mai Châu dispone de piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante en Mai Châu. The place was very cozy, felt like home. I arrived before 2:00 PM, the room was ready and they gave me the key. The room was clean, cozy. The breakfast was simple but definitely sufficient. There is a table with hot tea, iced tea, coffee and water for free use all day. There is a restaurant on site and people also come to eat there from outside. The homestay is in a central location in the town and you can walk to the rice fields. There are bicycles on site. The staff is great.

The stay was perfect, when I realised I needed to leave suddenly and any bus I I tried to book was sold out, the family made several calls for us to sort a bus and dropped us there to make it in time.

Meadow Mai Chau Homestay tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Mai Châu. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín y terraza. Lo que más nos gustó fue la tranquilidad del lugar y la amabilidad de Fluel, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar. La habitación muy bien también y las vistas del sitio espectaculares. Tiene un grifo de agua mineral para rellenar las botellas y la comida casera riquísima. Todo muy bien la verdad.

Mai Chau Green Ecohouse está en Hòa Bình y dispone de wifi gratis, bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza. Se puede descubrir la zona practicando ciclismo en los alrededores. Amazing location with a beautiful large balcony and comfortable bed! Very nice friendly people who run the place.

Nice bungalows surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept garden set amid lush green rice fields. Clean and refreshing pool with a dreamy view on a water lilies pond and the mountains. Delicious homemade food (they grow their own vegetables), I especially recommend their chicken and aubergines. If you like something sweet for breakfast, ask for fried bananas or bread, butter and honey (from the nearby forest). The chilled and laid-back vibe makes it the perfect place to escape Hanoi’s hustle and bustle and relax for a few days. Take a walk in the nearby fields at sunset, explore traditional villages and the rice paddies by bicycle or rent a motorbike and tour the area (this is the best solution if you want to make the most out of your stay). We met wonderful people and had dinner together a few times. Mr Tahnh is a great host, kind and welcoming. He will offer you tea and care for your needs. He took us on an unforgettable motorbike ride through the Mai Chau district, it was just the perfect day tour. He doesn’t speak English but he communicates with google translator and, with a bit of patience, it actually works! I can’t recommend this place enough!
