She sat with me over tea and explained the history of Hue, pointing out hidden gems on a map that I never would have found on my own. Her recommendation for a vegetarian restaurant was the best food I had in the city. The villa itself is stunning. It’s clear that every detail was chosen with care, from the furniture to the landscaping. I spent one afternoon just reading in a hammock in the garden, completely peaceful. Yes, the alleyway is narrow and a bit confusing for the taxi the first time, but that's what makes it feel like a true local experience and not a tourist trap. And yeah, I got a few mosquito bites, but the net over the bed was perfect and I slept like a baby. This isn't just a homestay; it's a experience curated by a wonderful local. Don't hesitate.

I only stayed one night, but it was very nice and the host is super kind and helpful!! The location was perfect for me, since I wanted to be in a more quiet area and also close to the many cultural sites. I really recommend you to go to Vong Canh Hill at the Sunset, you will enjoy the best view on the river, mountains and also the city!
