My friend and me stayed at Yennie‘s homestay for three nights and loved it! The room is large, clean and beautifully decorated with lots of attention to details. The food was delicious-I think we had the best breakfast of our entire trip. We did two tours organized by Yennie and loved these, too. Our guide Henry was so kind and knowledgeable. He pointed out a lot of details and stopped at places we would not even have noticed! Personally, I really enjoyed the little library with the hammocks as well as the free bicycles that we used to check out some of the places recommended by Yennie-a truly wonderful host!

Oanh and her family are some of the most warm, friendly, hard working people I've ever met, and they treat you with such kindness and hospitality. The family operates a couple different homestays on An Binh, so if she doesn't have room you can ask if her brother or sister does. The house is a beautiful traditional house, and sitting in the hammocks on the porch you can have a chat with her or the other guests, or just relax and listen to birds singing in the yard. I did the boat tour with Oanh's brother and it was a great experience, I've never had fruit as sweet as the longan and rambutan we picked from the trees during the tour. There's bicycles you can borrow to go around the island, and I was also able to rent Oanh's sister's scooter to drive to Sa Dec for a day. Also, Oanh is an amazing cook and her food is the best I've had in Vietnam so far! I told her she should start offering cooking classes too, maybe you can ask her to show how she makes some of the food :) Thank you Oanh and your family, hope to see you again!

Ngoc Phuong Homestay is located in Vinh Long. It offers complimentary bicycle rentals, parking and WiFi access. A set menu breakfast is served daily. The rooms and facilities were very clean and neat. The hosting family was more than sweet. We could use the bikes from the property, they helped us with scooters and we could ask anytime if needed anything. Food was great! The island and the property is really quiet and relaxing.

Situated by the Mekong River, Happy Family Guesthouse features basic and comfy cottages with free Wi-Fi access. Surrounded by tropical greenery, it provides a garden and swimming pool with sun deck. I had a great time when I stayed here. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They also helped me book a bus ticket to Ho Chi Minh city on the day I checked out. The food was yummy - try their gigantic pancakes with pork. I would have loved to stay longer but I wanted to also spend some days in Ho Chi Minh before I leave Vietnam. Good location, too, next to the water. Good place to relax. I hope I can come back in the future. +++
