Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

Situated in Kalk Bay, Stoep By Ideas Cartel is a recently renovated accommodation, 15 km from Chapman's Peak and 21 km from Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. The property has sea and mountain views, and is 200 metres from Kalk Bay Harbour Beach. World of Birds is 23 km away and CTICC is 30 km from the guest house. Loved everything about the place, from check in to check out the breakfast was amazing the jacuzzi OMG😍

Hands down the best stay I’ve had during my 10-day trip across South Africa. The location is great, but what really stood out was the value for money and attention to detail; disposable slippers, spotless fresh sheets, power adapters, USB sockets right by the bed, everything you could possibly need. The hosts were on another level of hospitality - warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. They didn’t just give recommendations, they offered help with little things like arranging my taxi and checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Even without those gestures, I would’ve been impressed. I’ve paid the same or more elsewhere for service that doesn’t come close. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hermanus.

The bedroom is spacious, very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom is comfortable with a spacious shower. Nice view of Table mountain from the common area patio and a lovely pool onsite. The host Imke is friendly and very obliging. My colleague had to cancel at the last minute due to medical reason and this was accepted with no fuss. Excellent communication pre check in, Imke responded to all my queries. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Warmly welcomed by Limo and the host that checked in with us prior. Upon entering you are captured with tranquility and an ambiance as if you're about to have a Spa treatment. Everything was carefully yet meticulously thought through from Interior decor design to Architectural composition, all very well composed throughout. We will definitely be back to experience sundowners and sunsoaking surrounded with expansive views and a touch of nature. Very well located walking distance to nature and well renowned wine estate on your doorstep. Breakfast was amazing and catered for all.
