The hostess is a lovely lady. The house is very clean and comfortable. It's a fantastic location. 3 mins and you are the busy and lively center with loads of restaurants and bars yet whilst in the house it is totally peaceful and quiet. Definitely will use anytime in varna for overnight stays. Lots of street parking.

Very practical and the beds are comfortable. I loved the self service machines, they even had beers !! Just need to have coins

Lider house hostel is formerly known as Gagarin house. I think the Gagarin people were professional hosteliers who knew what they were doing but something happened and they took off taking Gagarin's poster with them. The hostel has kept a great deal of their professionalism though. The location is perfect for exploring the coastline north of Varna, that is if you travel by car. There is a paid parking nearby. There was hot water and a washing machine. Beds were comfy. Nice urban environment. The owners had left the dorm without heating in solidarity with the people of Ukraine who will spend the winter having difficulties heating their homes because of the war. It made me more aware of the plight of the people of Ukraine.
