Everyone was so helpful! I booked this place to sleep for a few hours before my early morning flight. They picked me up from the airport bus stop and then dropped me off a few hours after. I booked a quad room and they were nice enough to give me my own quad room so I wouldn’t bother anyone waking up in the middle of the night. Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I’m ever back in Costa Rica! Thank you!!

They have their own food truck and an airport shuttle for 5$, which is very convenient. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the bed & pillows were VERY comfy!

Backpackers Alajuela is a beautiful hostel located in Alajuela Town Centre. It boasts free Wi-Fi, a on-site restaurant and a free shuttle service to the airport, a 5-minute drive away.

I think the highlight of my stay at Alajuela Backpackers was the staff, they were helpful, friendly and flexible which was greatly appreciated as I made several mistakes with my booking. I also tried the restaurant which provided quick and tasty food. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hostel and would recommend it handily if staying in a private room.
