The hostel has everything you need, big shared spaces and bathrooms inside the rooms which I found very convenient. It was a walk away from T3 so I didn’t have to waste time and money on busing to and from the airport. Staff is super nice and helpful.

the staff are amazing. they are friendly and super kind. Normally, you can check-in from14:000, but i had to do it in the morning and they were accepted to check-in before 14:00. someone says that the facilities are little bit non-clean or old, but it wasn't minded to me. it was okay. the towel and blanket are free. there isn't any lockers, but you can depose your baggages to the staff.

I wouldn't be able to possibly sum up how much I liked staying at this hostel, but having been to so many hostels over the past 10+ days, this is definitely my absolute favorite. No second thoughts. I had to stay in Madrid due to a missed train, and what a reception! The staff was so warm and welcoming (thank you for everything guys, you all were lovely), immediately drew me a map of must-visits fitted to my own travel context. On the room - no negative comments, very clean, nice shower/bathroom, comfy bed, curtain. Next favorite part, the dinner! You can sign up for it at the reception, and the food was top (and I honestly did not expect that being an actual 3-course meal + open bar, so bonus points). Last, the pub-crawl organized by the hostel was just as nice. I wish I could stay longer to go to the other activities they organised during the day (but I will surely be back!). Thanks for everything. PS The location is well-connected, and it is such a gorgeous part of the city.

Incredibly well-designed and staffed place. Beds were very comfortable, luggage storage was spacious and easy to use, and the bathrooms were always clean. The atmosphere in the hostel was very youth friendly and all the other people staying there had a great time! Will definitely stay at The Hat next time I’m in Madrid.
