We had an amazing stay at PaddyView! The modern-Javanese design is stunning, and being surrounded by rice fields makes the atmosphere incredibly peaceful. Our suite room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with AC, a TV, and a private bathroom with hot water. The staff, especially Iwan and Erica, were very welcoming and helpful. While breakfast isn't provided, there's a fully equipped kitchen where we could cook. The location is a bit outside the city center, but with Grab, it only takes 5 minutes to reach restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended!

I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect. Ali the host and his family were very welcoming and helpful. They also made us delicious meals and facilitated a tour of the national park on a traditional fishing boat, which I recommend. The location is also close to G-land so you can get in and out for surfs without the cost of surf camps if you are on a budget.

We had an absolutely great stay here. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk from the train station and another 5-10 minutes to ferry if you plan to go to Bali later on, a lot of inexpensive cafes/stores nearby. You can rent a bike in the hostel next door. The place also organizes tours to Ijen right on the reception desk. The staff is very helpful and considerate. The room is pretty basic, but has everything that you might need for a short-term stay. The price was also very good considering all the above. And the breakfast was great as well. All in all, very good experience. Would definitely stay here again.
