The staff is so nice ! We forgot part of our luggage and the staff was able to make a shipping arrangement for us and got our things mailed to another hotel further on our trip! Amazing ! The laundry service is also very nice to have at your doorstep.

It's a new fresh building and the room is well lit. The location is near to the main attractions. The room is clean, the water pressure is good, and the little rooftop is nice. The staff was so nice and very kind. Kudos to him.

The hostel is about 3 km from the city center. To get there you can either walk or get a grab. I really liked the location, as it is not on the main street, so you don't hear the traffic noise. Also, there are a lot of really nice cafès for breakfast, many restaurants (both local and international), and a couple of supermakets. I was in the female room and I had a really nice stay. I met a lot of nice and sociable people...we visited the temples all together! One of the staff is the most amazing guy I have ever met! It was really nice to talk to him and he went above and beyond to accomodate everyone's requests. If I was to go back to Yogyakarta, I would definitely go back there! The hostel has lockers (you need you own lock) and free water refills. The common area is super nice and there is always someone hanging around.
