-The Person who runs it is really motivated and energetic! She comes every morning, cares for everything and is always keen to have a coffee and a chat with you -The view is amazing, ocean at one side mountains at the other -the village is small and quiet but perfect if you want to spent some time apart from the crwoded places. You can reach the nearby cities by walking or by train. -its also a good starting point for some hikes

Everything about this hostel ticks all the boxes and more. Perfectly located a short walk from the station and a few minutes from the sea, it couldn't be better located. Entering the hostel, I was made to feel very welcome. I was given lots of very useful information and for those wanting to explore the Cinque Terre, the staff are very knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and spotlessly clean. A very friendly hostel, in the two evenings I was there, we had the option to join in one. Iggy with a pizza, and the second evening with a very nice home cooked pasta meal for just 6€, with a free glass of wine, making it a delightful opportunity to meet and chat with other hostellers. And if this wasn't enough, breakfast (included in the price) included home baked cakes. I don't think I have stayed in a better hostel anywhere. La Spezia is a lovely city, well worth a visitas well as being a handy place to stay in if you want to explore the Cinque Terre. But staying in this hostel easily justifies coming here. Well done for making this such an exceptional place to stay.

The manager is very nice person seems he is helping people than doing business! I forgot to bring my shampoo and bodywash and he gave me from his stock without charging any money! The place is not ideal for traveling cinque terre but it has it own charm! Beer garden there and the room was so nice! He gave me the room where no person stayed so it was great!

The hostel is quite simply fabulous. A great location with a great history and awesome staff who, with little encouragement, will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as you need it to be. It is disabled friendly so if you have any questions please just ask the guys in advance. Jacqueline, Jorik and all the staff will gladly bend over backwards to make your stay even better.

There's a youth hostel across the road with a social scene which suited us perfectly. Also the pizza on the corner is delicious.

Great location, lovely town & lively bars. Alot more local, less touristy and prettier in my opinion than cinque terre towns. Also cheaper beach loungers at €8. And a good Optional breakfast & comfy beds.

Spacious, comfortable bed, 15min walk from the station, close to the beach and restaurants, very friendly staff, they offer cheap breakfast (5 euros), clean (some hairs in the bathroom but that’s to be expected in a hostel) Thank you for the staff for letting me drop off my bag (twice)! I was able to hike back-bag free
