Machiko provided the most comfortable stay and she is a wonderful host. She prides herself on keeping the hostel super clean. The location is central to everything, 15-20 minutes walk to Fuji viewing spots and close to convenient stores.

Owner was so friendly and welcoming, facilities were great. Nice to get that traditional feel of accommodation. Short walk to the pagoda and our room had views of Mount Fuji.

The atmosphere is so great, everything made me felt like home even i was far way from hotel. The share area and bathroom are so clean. The view from my room was even stunning- Mt Fuji😁 Boss was so nice- allowed us for early checking in after coming back from hiking and no extra charge for luggage storage. Would recommend for people who plans for hiking but likes to stay in a more quiet place (two stations away from Kawaguchiko). Remember to spend little for the Mt Fuji view at the train station, it was breath-taking!

The property was very nice and the aircon was cool…. I ate dinner in the little lounge area which was nice and I had some time to write on the balcony in the morning… definitely enjoyed my stay and was very thankful that the lady that was working was nice to me when I got there so late

So clean, warm to come back to after a Winter day around the lake and what a perfect perfect location for seeing Mt Fuji. It is directly opposite 1min walk away to cross the road and you are in Oishi Park. After walking around the lake and seeing the other hotel options I would say this was the best location!
