United KingdomHonestly everything was amazing. Great building, view, facilities, bedrooms, common room, clean and the price is ridiculously good. The host went above and beyond, driving me to the convenience store and bus station early in the morning, and sharing a beer with me in the evening and gave me the best restaurant recommendation. Location very good for Nachi Taisha too.

GermanyReally the best thing you can expect from a hostel. Rooms were good, toilets and shower was good. Kitchen was nice and location also very close to the train station. The owner is one of the nicest and most positive people I have ever met and really takes care of his guests. Will 100% come here again if I am ever in the area.

The owner was really nice, it is the low season so when I arrived she offered me to stay in a single bedroom instead of the dormitory I’ve paid for. For 2 days I was literally alone, it was super quiet. You have everything you need if you want to prepare your meals. She even recommended me a very cute cafe you should visit right next to the hostel: ユータウン with a very cute indoor garden and amazing pancakes. Overall a great stay 😁

Amazing location! Lovely staff and lovely neighbourhood. I slept very well in this hostel and they safely kept my bags after/before checkout.

This is the best Hostel I ever was in. The owners were really friendly and the hostel was SO clean. We had a long trip behind us with some fancy hotels and we felt so much better in why kumano than in some other places. It was great to meet some of the other guests and everyone was really kind. Also in the night it was surprisingly fresh in the capsules and quiet. Thank you so much.

Great location to stay in after the Kumano Kodo hike, as the hostel is right across the road from the train station.

I slept in the dorm, a new experience! It was quiet all night, and enough room in the capsule. Clean and nice showet. Nice staff. The hostel is right by the train station so it was very convenient as I was taking the train early the next morning. I came from Nachi (Kumano Kodo) and the bus stopped right outside the hotel. Cheap, nice hostel if you need a place to sleep in Katsuura.
