Jalil and Aizada are amazing hosts and super helpful. The facilities are very good and clean including a nice communal area. Jalil provides a lot of helpful information how you can do day hikes by yourself. I had an amazing time at the Snow Leopard Hostel and can highly recommend it!

The stuff was very kind and helpful. Even though the hotel was full and they were very busy, they were very attentive. The hot spring facility is also perfect after a few days of hiking.

Janyl is the perfect example of the outstanding Kyrgyz hospitality so her hostel quickly became our base camp between our trekking adventures in the Tian Shan mountains. We can recommend it to anyone staying here as Janyl speaks perfect English and can help you organise anything for your trip. There is a spacious common kitchen, a sunny terrace, a green garden with fruit trees, free and secure luggage storage and a good supermarket nearby. The toilets and showers are always clean.

Everything was perfect. We felt at home here, and it became our base camp during our stay, we always came back to rest after our excursions. The owner, Artsan, is super chill and easy-going, which gives the place such a good vibe. The highlight is definitely the garden, it’s a little slice of heaven with lots of fruit trees ! It’s also just a 15–20 minute walk from the city center, and we loved being a bit away from the hustle and bustle. If you enjoy running or simply being surrounded by the countryside, this is the perfect spot !

Sayak hostel is in a perfect position, very close to the main attractions of Karakol and bus stops. The inside building is modern and new, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The manager is an amazing person: very nice and helpful, English speaking, ready to satisfy all your needs (he kept our luggage at the hostel while we were outside for a 3 days trek in the mountain). All the staff is really kind. They also have a very convenient laundry service and a large kitchen.
