A must book if you’re staying in colombo! Very clean, spacious, helpful & nice staff. Very relaxing with the outside area as its full of trees & gardens which gives you a little slice of nature despite being in a city.

Staff are friendly , AC was great & WIFI was super fast. Great place to stop between South/Center/North. Located in the center of Colombo. Extended for 2 more nights. Tip for the owner: bicycles to explore Colombo.

I am travelling alone. This place was super easy to find. Name is written in big blond letters. Receptionists were super helpful, Clear communication. Supermarket right opposite the stay. Easy to catch uber/taxi/tuktuk. It has a roof top restaurant where each and every staff was friendly, approachable and kind. Will definitely stay there.

I want to thank my monkey family for the amazing stay! I booked 2 nights after arriving to Sri Lanka at the monkey hostel. As it was their New Year’s Day the whole family was at the hostel and they welcomed me like I was part of the family. They involved me and all the guests for their new years ceremony, even cooked some amazing Sri Lanka curries for us. Every morning they prepare your breakfast and it feels like a cozy family breakfast. If there are any things you need to arrange, visa, public transportation, a nice place to eat, they are more then willing to help and give you good recommendations. They really want the best for the guests and willing to secure the safety of their guests. I ended up extending even more night because they just made me feel like home!

The property was clean, easy to find and well equipped. We chatted with other local guests, got great advices for our trip and felt throughout comfortable. After visiting Sri Lanka we came a second time to this Hostel before departure and it was lovely meeting everybody again! Also great A/C.
